The magazine Emprendedores has organised a second meeting to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on business. The aim was for the meeting to be practical for all attendees, featuring use cases from entrepreneurs in various sectors of the economy who have been leveraging AI for years to make their organizations and solutions more powerful and effective. Our CEO, Carlos Galmarini, was invited to share Topazium’s experience in the healthcare sector. Below a summary of the interview.
Carlos Galmarini is the founder of Topazium, a startup that provides artificial intelligence services to all stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including academic institutions, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech firms. Galmarini asserts that his company is focused on human health and well-being, developing tools that have the unique ability to work with all types of medical data. As a result, they are applicable to the four stages of a pathology: prevention—which he calls “protecting your health”—diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. For instance, Galmarini cited an example in the area of health protection where they have a tool, HealthGuardTM, that captures data from a smartwatch, analyzes the deviations reflected in the data, and converts them into nutritional recommendations tailored to each individual’s physiological needs. According to the founder of Topazium, even in medicine, the trend is toward increasingly personalized care based on individual ranges rather than population statistics.
